Started in 1997 in Dallas as Photoplay Productions, a film editing and design company. (The first movies were originally called Photoplays...)
In 1998, after a year in business and a lot more design clients than film clients, the company became Photoplay Multimedia, a bulking and cumbersome name that confused everyone.
It wasn't until the summer of '99, and a move to Chicago that Photoplay Design was finally formed.
With a firm background in commercial printing and production, Photoplay Design can work with you on your website projects to create something truely unique.

I have aquired a small print shop in Lakeview to expand the services offered to my clients. Sir Speedy Halsted, located at 2818 N. Halsted, offers fast turnaround and professional design for your printed materials. Because it is a franchise, all of Photoplay's design work will be billed through Sir Speedy. Same lead designer (me), just a different name on the invoice. Also, with the addition of a graphic designer I've hired and a pressman, customer service rep., delivery driver and business manager, I will be enhancing the service you already receive.
